Education Philosophy
It is my belief that every child has the right to a quality education that will unlock their full potential to learn. True learning occurs when we (teachers and parents) engage students by providing unique, hands-on experiences, so that every child can progress and succeed. I strongly believe in promoting a positive social environment, in which students are supported and encouraged by their peers. When children are surrounded by a rich academic and social environment, they are free to explore, take chances, and learn. My goal is to build upon the foundation you have laid, and to help guide your child on the path to becoming a fulfilled and well-balanced citizen.

Education
I am a graduate of the University of Memphis, and member of the University of Memphis Alumni Association, with a B.S.Ed., majoring in Teaching All Learners, Instruction and Curriculum Leadership. I received my degree in 2013, and am licensed to teach K-6.
Hobbies
I am an avid reader, with a passion for learning and seeking new experiences. I enjoy traveling, cooking, and quality time with my family. Spending time outdoors is another past-time, whether biking, hiking, kayaking, or just relaxing in nature.
**Also, an avid coffee lover! I'll never say no to a good cup of Joe! ( I take my coffee black, no sugar, no creamer, and I love both iced and hot *wink wink*!)
